In Greek mythology, Pygmalion was a talented sculptor who grew tired of real women and decided to create his ideal woman out of Marble. He called his masterpiece Galatea. Her beauty and perfection made him fall in love with her so much that he wished she could come to life. The goddess Aphrodite, touched by his affection and devotion, granted his wish, bringing Galatea to life. She became a real woman, and Pygmalion married her. This myth explores themes of love, artistic creation, and the magic of transformation.
